Portraiture & Sports
I’m not entirely sure where to start off with this post. I’ve been consumed with portraiture for years; constantly learning to find the right light, both indoors and out. It really is a magical journey and a constant learning adventure. Everyday seems to bring different opportunities, challenges and risks.
I’ve been fortunate to have found and combined both Photography and Project Management theory into a singular vision. I will be expanding on this as I continue to put my thoughts together. So more to come in a different post.
So, if you’ve been reading my blog lately, you can see that I’ve been focused on sports; specifically football. This is also a true love of mine. I started with sports when my daughter started playing soccer in second grade. The stage is set as the action unfolds in all it’s majesty right in front of my eyes. I learned rather quickly that nobody, including the athletes, will remember a specific moment in time; though they will remember the game as a whole. In the case of kids or high school athletes, they will most likely remember the era of when they played; but perhaps not much more than that. The magic of sports photography is capturing specific special moments for a lifetime. It is not a matter of just capturing the action or a scene during a game; it is about capturing the human emotion.
More to come…the World Series is starting in two minutes
